Water used for Domestic and/or Industrial purposes are very often found to be
contaminated due to presence of insoluble materials/ ingredients.
For wise and economic use of water, in most cases, it is imperative to adopt
certain type of treatment of water depending upon the available quality of raw
water and purposes of use of water.
Water, available from the canal, contains appreciable quantity of suspended
impurities and iron besides the possibility of presence of organic matter. Hence
this water should not be used for drinking or other miscellaneous purposes
without proper treatment. Under the circumstances, it is imperative
to treat the canal water for the removal of impurities from the canal water and
to make the canal water hygienically safe for use as drinking and other purpose.
The iron removal filtration plant, installed by us, incorporates standard and
proven design and essentially consists of Alum dosing System, Soda as doming
System. Air compressor, Oxidation chamber, Iron Removal filters and Chlorine
solution doser.
The basic principle of installation of Iron removal filtration plant is to
remove the suspended impurities, total Iron and organic matter from the influent
canal eater and to make the treated water absolutely clear and hygienically safe
for drinking and other purposes.
Iron removal filtration plant will removal all the impurities mentioned above
provided however the plant is run as per our instruction and maintenance of the
same is carried-out as stipulated elsewhere in this manual. The Iron removal
filtration plant, installed here, is rather simple in nature and requires semi
skilled personnel for operating the plant |
